Instructions for Making Steamed Honeycomb Cake
- 100g steamed honeycomb cake flour
- 50g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 60g water or unsweetened fresh milk
- 15g cooking oil

1. Add 50g of brown sugar and 60g of water or milk into a bowl. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
2. Add 100g of Bánh Bò flour and 1 egg into the sugar mixture. Stir well until smooth.
3. Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and let it rise until it doubles in size. (In summer, let it rest for about 1 hour; in colder weather, about 2 hours.)
4. Once the batter has risen, add 15g of cooking oil and mix gently to remove any bubbles. Grease the mold with a thin layer of oil, pour in the batter, and steam over high heat for 15 minutes. After turning off the heat, let it sit covered for another 5 minutes. Your cake is ready to enjoy!
